• And then one knows, what're the purposes of one had learned in the semester...!"  (34 KB) Three students reported about their study (Bachelor's Degree) in Computer Science at Leibniz University of Hannover.
  
  
• The Welfenlab at Institute of Applied Systems offers interesting School-Initiative. Every year, there is the Welfenlab Competition which is a competition in Computer science for pupils. The initiative of Ada Lovelace's Urenkelinnen would like inspire the interest of the pupils of the higher level in  high schools and to offer them an easier start in Computer science.
  
  
• The Taster Studies at the Leibniz University Hannover offers prospective students the possibility to visit every event of the "normal" teachings. During the event, you can register yourself without fulfilling the requirements and yet have an idea of the course of study.
  
  
• In Junior studies, you can already attend the lectures and sit for examinations of the Mathematics-Science, Engineering or Business Management and Economic departments of the Leibniz University of Hannover and to get a certificate for a successful participation at the same time. This certification can be made by the Faculties during or after studies. The offer will be in favour of the pupils from the high schools of  a higher levels as well as trainees, national servicemen and community servicemen (with University entrance eligibility)
  
  
• Winter uni - organised by the uniKIK Informations-in-afternoons is conducted at the end of January of every year und enables pupils from class grade 11 onward to have a view of various courses of study in Technology,  Science and Mathematics.
  
  
• Intensive courses in Mathematics offered by uniKIK , an unit of the Leibniz University of Hannover  for communication, innovation and cooperation between schools and the University. The program uni:fit - support, inform,train prepares freshmen of all courses of study.
  
  
• HIT - High Education Information Days - the yearly autumn event offers the first impression of the facilities and courses at the Leibniz University of Hannover.

• "Mentoring for pupils“ offers pupils of the higher level an additional source  of information about science, mathematics and technical  course of study and jobs. Pupils of class grade 11 or higher can participate in this activity. After the registration, each mentee will be guided by a student who will be his/her mentor for a period of 5 months. They will then have questions clarified, attended lectures and experience the daily study life together.
  
  
• Autumn university - during the autumn holidays, the Leibniz University of Hannover invites pupils of  class grade 12-13  in the region of Hannover to one week long of science and technical courses.
  
  
• Yolante - Young Ladies' Network of Technology - is a program of the company Siemens, which would like to inspire the young women to engaging themselves in technical jobs and as well as to accompany her along the study in science and technology.
